GGW / AGW glycol protector: protection for water and the environment

Characteristics of the GGW / AGW glycol protector:

  • Environmental protection: The GGW/AGW glycol protector collects oils and water-glycol mixtures in an environmentally friendly way and prevents them from leaking out uncontrollably.

  • TÜV-certified: As an extension of the oil protector, the GGW/AGW glycol protector is TÜV-certified and meets the requirements of the Water Resources Act (§ 62g ff. WHG) and the AwSV (Plant Ordinance).

  • Digital monitoring system: The system monitors the water-glycol circuit using a digital pressure sensor and closes the drain valve in the event of a leak of light liquid to hold back liquids.

  • Safety chain: The GGW/AGW glycol protector is designed as a safety chain and closes the drain valves automatically in the event of a power failure, cable breakage, microprocessor defect or other errors in the system.

  • Material and temperature range: The protector is made of stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A) with a material thickness of 1.5 mm and is suitable for use in the temperature range from -30°C to +50°C.

  • Suitable for outdoor areas: Particularly suitable for cooling towers and cold water systems in outdoor areas, which do not cause water pollution even if there are leaks.
