GLF
GLF Glycol Protector Conductivity Sensor
The GLF sensor measures the electrolytic conductivity especially of liquids, rainwater and glycol according to the conductive 2-electrode measuring principle. An alternating voltage is applied to the electrodes with an alternating voltage. The current flowing through the measured medium depends on its conductivity.
The highly sensitive GLF sensor measures minute quantities in fractions of a second and thus ensures reliable detection of leaks and their return detection of leakages and their containment within the legal requirements according to § 62g ff. of the WRA detection of leakages and their containment within the legal requirements according to § 62g ff. of the WHG (Water Resources Act) and the AwSV (Plant Ordinance). Another feature of these sensors is the resistance to cold and heat; the operating range is between -40 and +100 °C.
The sensor housing based on a cable gland according to DIN EN 62444 provides for a compact size of the sensor. Usually, the GLF sensor is simply mounted on the tub edge of the glycol protector with the supplied holder. The special feature is that, if required, it can also be installed in pipelines. Please do not hesitate to ask us.
The GLF sensor can be used universally and is especially suitable for refrigeration, air conditioning and cooling systems.
Features of the GLF sensor:
- Measurement sensitivity: The GLF sensor is very sensitive and enables the detection of very small quantities in fractions of a second.
Leakage detection: By precisely measuring the conductivity, the GLF sensor ensures reliable detection of leaks in refrigeration, air conditioning and cooling systems. - Temperature resistance: The sensor’s application range is between -40°C and +100°C, which ensures reliable function even in extreme temperature environments.
- Universal application: The GLF sensor is easy to install, can be plugged onto the edge of the glycol protector or installed in pipes.
- Robust design: The sensor housing is based on a cable gland according to DIN EN 62444 and ensures a compact design, protection class IP68 and chemical resistance.
- Easy to clean: The GLF sensor is easy to clean and therefore requires little maintenance.
- Connection cable: The supplied connection cable is 500 cm long, which offers flexibility during installation.
Areas of application:
The GLF sensor is widely used in refrigeration, air conditioning and cooling systems where reliable leak detection and compliance with environmental protection guidelines are required.
