HeiTher 3.0
HeiTher 3.0 – Effective defrosting system for outdoor protectors
The HeiTher 3.0 is a groundbreaking defrosting system that has been specially developed for outdoor use. In situations with temperatures just below freezing and high humidity, where water condenses and freezes on the fins of the air conditioning system, the HeiTher 3.0 comes into action. It effectively prevents the formation of ice deposits in the protector, which can significantly reduce the collection volume. This intelligent system monitors the temperature and water level in the protector in order to control the heating in a targeted and extremely efficient manner. With the HeiTher 3.0 you are always on the safe side, even in the most demanding outdoor environments.
Features of the HeiTher 3.0:
- Modern defrosting: The system only detects ice formation when a layer of ice has built up to such an extent that it could impair the function of the protector. The heating is activated, the ice thaws, and excess water flows away. Once complete, the heating switches off.
- Fault reporting contact: If water or ice backs up, there is a fault reporting contact that warns the operator if it is not working.
- Even heat distribution: The heating mats are placed flat underneath the protectors to ensure even heat distribution. Alternatively, they can also be attached to the outside walls.
Winter use of protectors:
- Freezing rainwater: The GGW valve closes and the drain is blocked by ice. The function of the oil and glycol protector is guaranteed because the collection volume is still available.
- Snowfall: Snow only falls in the area of the overhang, not under the unit. The protector volume takes into account a certain amount of precipitation/snow without restricting the safety device.
